On Monday, 5 July 2021, the CBSE announced to rationalize the syllabus for the academic session 2021-22 of Class 10th and 12th. The rationalized syllabus will be divide into two terms.

The first term questions being objective, while the second term exams will be subjective. There will be no overlapping of the syllabus. And the final marks will be based on performance in these both exams, which will hold equal weightage.
