    Covid-19

    Introduction

India is currently dealing with the 2nd wave of Covid 19. We are seeing the Covid case counts dropping. We can see test positivity rates dropping over some time. And, most importantly, we are seeing that hospitals are no longer so crowded with patients in ICU or waiting outside desperately pleading for admission. But still, we cannot lay firm bets that the second wave has ended. We have to wait and see what happens after the unlock process.

    Tips to reduce stress

Stress and anxiety are at an all-time high in the second wave of Covid 19. we must look after not just physical health but mental health too, faced with new realities of work from home, temporary unemployment, online schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with other family members, friends, and colleagues.

    • Healthy diet is always important to improve physical and psychological stress tolerance.
    • Connect with family and friends. Do not get into the same old Corona-related speculations; talk about other things like sports, science, universe.
    • Read whatever interests you beyond the newspaper.

    Unlock Process

Now many states have kick-started their unlock process, with the daily Covid case count dipping. This time when we need to keep in mind the Covid-control protocols more than ever.

    • Maintain social distance at all times
    • Do not hesitate to get vaccinated

There is a chance of an imminent third Covid 19 wave even before the nation has a chance to recover from 2nd wave of Covid 19.

    Covid Warriors

Lastly, I want to thank all the Covid Warriors. Every day, the selfless warriors giving their all while cutting themselves off from their families and loved ones. The sacrifice they are making for the safety and welfare of humanity is priceless and deserves lifelong gratitude on our end. We have to support them, not insult them.

If Covid Warriors can then take the risk for our lives, why can’t we help them by following few safety measures?
