CANCELLATION OF CBSE 12TH BOARD EXAM, 2021

Because of the covid pandemic situation, the Central government has decided to cancel the CBSE class 12 board exams. This year, CBSE Class 12th board exams will not take place. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed officials to prepare CBSE Class 12 results according to “well-defined criteria, in a fair and time-bound manner”.

After CBSE announced the cancellation of the 12th exams, students belonging to 23 states and two union territories petitioned in Supreme Court to seek relief for state board exams.

Earlier, the West Bengal government had announced that WBCHSE 12th Exam 2021 to be held from June 2021 onwards.

A final decision, however, for the state board examinations is still awaited.
